Yes! We have started "Food Friday" where, on Fridays, we will be concocting anything from cookies to pizza! In other words, once a week you will find yourself reading a fabulous, pre-reviewed recipe!
This week's recipe is "Fudgy Brownies". And they are DELICIOUS!
1-1/3 cups butter, softened
2-2/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
Confectioners' sugar* and/or chocolate chips** optional.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture until well blended.
Spread onto a greased 13-in./9-in./2-in. baking pan(**cover in chocolate chips). Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the top is dry and the center is set. Cool completely (*Dust with confectioners' sugar).
